I. Insert the Windows XP Installation CD. Turn on or Restart your PC. When the PC starts to boot, keep pressing F2 or DEL to enter BIOS Setup. (This depends between manufacturers) Once inside the BIOS Setup, we need to change the start-up sequence, so that the CD/DVD ROM is in the first boot sequence.  Go to the Boot Menu and follow this sequence:  CD/DVD ROM, Removable Devices, Hard Drive, Network Boot. Press F10 to save and exit.

After formatting, setup will copy files to disk, After that it will restart automatically. When the PC restarted, click “NEXT”. Then enter your Name, then click the “NEXT” button. Now, enter the Product Key and press enter. Change the Computer name if you want and then click the “NEXT” button. Change the time if you want and then click the “NEXT” button. Click the “Typical setting” for the networking setting and then click the “NEXT” button. Change the name of the workgroup if you want and then click the “NEXT” button.

1. Run Registry Editor (RegEdit.exe). Go to Start > Run > type regedit.

2. Navigate to the following registry key:

   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\

   SpecialAccounts\UserList

   Note: If SpecialAccounts and UserList is not found, create new sub-key and name them accordingly.

3. Select UserList, and in the right pane, right click on any blank space, and point to New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
